Since darling Kazuya made an appearance in iyat - Koichi’s wedding vows, I’d thought I’d just make a post about In Your Arms Tonight Season 2.

The story is the MC is recently married, husband is (second row, middle) Kazuya Seto. The MC is a former writer, when marrying Kazuya, he made her leave her writing career. She’s unhappy now. It is reverse from iyat, instead of being cheated on, the MC is doing the cheating.

The other guys are (left to right) ex boyfriend, college professor, HS sweetheart, boss, husband, another writer

IYAT2, didn’t make it past their epilogues, and hasn’t been updated in the Japanese version since May. In my opinion, don’t think the cheating aspect of voltage games took too well.

The boss, Fumitaka Nishi, was my favorite, he’s a do-s. chiapeto has also talked about how he looks like an older Seiji Goto.

I’m pretty sure it’s just a “letter” type thing, but I guess it’s the same thing sans CG.

If that’s true, I guess that’s slightly better than just a recycled CG. As it is, as much as I like Kuon and Hayden I still don’t think I’ll be buying the stories unless someone convinces me they’re worth it; not even for $2.49. With the exception of IYAT, these PoV stories seem like rushed attempts to cash in on a game’s popularity and little else.

Yeah, it’s a love letter/”message from the Prince” type of thing.

Ah, I know how you feel. I haven’t played any of the PoV stories, but I haven’t heard many good things about them lately. I had always figured it had to do with the general writing of the new games where the writing isn’t as good as some of the older games (not sure what to think about these ones since BMP2 would be considered one of the older games, I think? I can’t remember when it was released). For that much, I think I’d rather save for Main Stories unless I have extra cash lying around.

You’re not missing much, I’m afraid. Don’t get me wrong, the ones I’ve played have had some cute moments in them, but - with the exception of IYAT’s, which are brilliant -they’ve all seemed kind of…disjointed. They’re more like a collection of random moments from the route from “his” perspective than a proper story. They’re also usually quite short and seem to jump around a fair bit, which can be confusing. Frustratingly, they also seem to skip over many of the key scenes or moments from each route as well. A lot of the time, the MC hardly seems to appear in them at all. It’s a shame, because I really like the idea of retelling each character’s route from the guy’s perspective, but too often the execution falls flat for me. The upside is that they’re usually the same price as an epilogue, which is fairly cheap. If you’re on a budget though, I would definitely recommend saving your money for something better, like a main story or one of the longer sub stories with all the different characters.
